About Me
Dr. Kristi Wu is an ophthalmologist who focuses on glaucoma and cataract care. She enjoys partnering with patients to map out practical, stepwise plans—starting with accurate diagnosis and medical therapy, and moving to laser or surgical options when they can improve comfort and vision. Dr. Wu completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, a transitional year with Wayne State University, ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and a dedicated glaucoma fellowship at Duke. Her interests include minimally invasive and traditional glaucoma surgery, laser treatments for pressure control, and cataract surgery with advanced lens technologies. A Michigan native, she values clear education and careful follow-up, making sure each patient understands what to expect before, during, and after treatment. Whether adjusting drops or planning combined cataract–glaucoma procedures, she brings a calm, detail-oriented approach aimed at protecting vision for the long term.
