About Me
Dr. Kisha Piggott is a retina specialist in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine. She provides medical and surgical care for conditions that affect the retina and vitreous, with a focus on preserving vision and helping patients understand their treatment options.
She completed residency training in ophthalmology at Washington University School of Medicine and a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and also completed a PhD in Immunology at Emory University.
Dr. Piggott treats diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, macular holes and macular pucker, and retinal injuries from ocular trauma. She also has a special focus in ocular oncology, including uveal melanoma. Her research interests include uveal melanoma, bringing scientific insight to patient care.
