Dr. Kevin Baxter

Dr. Kevin R. Baxter is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in refractive cataract surgery and comprehensive eye care. He helps patients improve vision and protect long-term eye health by diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye diseases. Dr. Baxter offers modern cataract surgery with lens options tailored to your lifestyle and visual goals, and he uses advanced diagnostic technology to guide treatment decisions.

In addition to cataract and general ophthalmology care, Dr. Baxter provides surgical care for conjunctivochalasis, a cause of mechanical dry eye, and is noted as the only surgeon in northern Indiana performing this procedure. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Ohio University, completed an ophthalmology internship at St. John Health System, and finished ophthalmology residency training through Michigan State University and St. John Health System. He also serves as Chair of Ophthalmology at Saint Joseph Health System in northern Indiana.
