Dr. Kendall Goodyear
About Me
Dr. Kendall Goodyear is an oculoplastic and reconstructive ophthalmologist at TOC Eye and Face in Austin. She specializes in conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit, and tear drainage system, with a focus on restoring comfort, function, and a natural appearance. Patients seek her care for concerns ranging from droopy or malpositioned lids to tearing, trauma, and thyroid eye disease. She values clear communication and collaborative planning to ensure treatments fit each patient's goals and daily life.
Dr. Goodyear earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Biology from Cornell University, where she minored in Mathematics and Dance and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, completing a certificate in Clinical Neuroscience, and completed her residency at the Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Her dedication to ophthalmology has been recognized with the Starr E. Schulman Fellow Award from the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and the Young Ophthalmologist Green Grant Research Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Throughout her residency, she remained committed to research, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her family and dog.
