About Me
Dr. Karen Brown is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has completed a two-year ASOPRS fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at TOC Eye and Face. She provides care for patients with eyelid and lacrimal conditions, and her patients appreciate her clear explanations and compassionate approach.
She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Her training includes an ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas and clinical research experience at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She also completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, majoring in French and Art History.
Dr. Brown is committed to international service, participating in annual ophthalmology outreach trips to the Eastern Caribbean with the World Pediatric Project. She brings this dedication to her practice, focusing on patient education and personalized care.
