Dr. Kathryn Hecker

Dr. Kathryn J. Hecker is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who has been serving Greensboro and the surrounding areas since 1997. She is committed to providing each patient with the best possible care through a team of skilled and compassionate physicians and staff.

Dr. Hecker has over 22 years of experience performing thousands of cataract and lens implant surgeries. She also has extensive experience in the evaluation and management of diabetic eye disease, eyelid lesion surgery, and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma.

Her training background in education has enhanced her passion for teaching and naturally translated into her patient care approach. Dr. Hecker is qualified to treat a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, corneal and anterior segment disease, and eyelid lesions, as well as perform aesthetic skin treatments.
