Dr. Julie Belkin

Dr. Julie Belkin is a board-certified ophthalmologist with University Hospitals Eye Institute. She provides comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams and cataract and lens implant surgery. Dr. Belkin has been practicing at UH since 1993 and serves as an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

A native Clevelander, Dr. Belkin participated in a National Eye Institute study examining the effect of cataract surgery on improving dementia in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. She is committed to training residents and offers a patient-centered approach to eye health. She has been recognized as a Best Doctor by Cleveland Magazine and sees patients at her Bedford office and other locations in the Cleveland area.
