Dr. Benjamin D. Abramowitz is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized training in glaucoma care and advanced cataract surgery. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Abramowitz completed both his undergraduate studies and medical degree at The Ohio State University. He then served as chief resident during his ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University before pursuing fellowship training in glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Elleny Gutierrez is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive eye care for adults in Coastal Virginia. She cares for patients with a wide range of vision needs, from routine eye exams and cataract evaluation to medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. Having completed residency and glaucoma fellowship training, she offers both traditional and advanced approaches tailored to each person’s diagnosis and lifestyle. Dr. Gutierrez graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Evolutionary Biology of the Human Species, then completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health. She went on to complete a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she gained additional expertise in treating complex and advanced disease. Fluent in Spanish, she welcomes Spanish-speaking patients and families. Outside of clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and Australian Shepherd, reading, knitting, and exploring the outdoor activities and local restaurants around Virginia Beach as her new home.

Dr. Patrick Kaszubski

Dr. Patrick Kaszubski is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, cataract, and anterior segment surgery. He received his MD and a master’s in clinical investigation at New York University and previously served as an NIH research fellow.
