Dr. Joshua Mali

Dr. Joshua Mali is a board-certified ophthalmologist and award-winning retinal specialist who utilizes the most advanced surgical techniques and technology to deliver high-quality retinal clinical services and vitreoretinal surgery. He has published research in esteemed medical publications including JAMA Ophthalmology and serves on the editorial advisory board of several ophthalmic publications. Dr. Mali has been featured as a medical expert in TV and film, including in a PBS documentary.

Dr. Mali is a principal investigator for clinical trials for conditions such as wet and dry macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and uveitis. He has presented at national and international research meetings and has given lectures across the country. His surgical video was included in the American Society of Retinal Specialists Innovative Retina Surgical Video Series.

Dr. Mali is committed to community service, having participated in medical mission trips and volunteering for organizations that provide free medical services to underserved populations. He also mentors students in a NASA-sponsored robotics team.
