Meet Dr. Joseph Parisi
About Me
Dr. Joseph L. Parisi is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Clemson Eye, serving patients in the Greenville and Seneca, SC areas. He specializes in a comprehensive range of eye care services including cataract surgery, LASIK, refractive lens exchange, and advanced lens technologies such as the Light Adjustable Lens and implantable collamer lenses (ICL). With over 30,000 cataract and refractive surgeries performed, Dr. Parisi utilizes the latest techniques and equipment to address conditions such as glaucoma, retinal disease, and eyelid and tear duct disorders. He also offers micro-incisional glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and laser treatments for retinal disease.
Dr. Parisi earned his medical degree from Queen’s University and completed an internship at the Royal Victoria Hospital (McGill University Medical System), followed by an ophthalmology residency at Queen’s University. He then completed a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at the National Eye Institute in Ottawa. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Parisi serves as the South Carolina Medical Director for Eye Health America and is senior ophthalmologist at Clemson Eye. He has held leadership roles including Chief of Surgery at Oconee Medical Center.
Dr. Parisi is committed to maximizing visual potential and creating satisfied patients through technologically advanced, life-changing procedures. He is a speaker and key opinion leader for Alcon and Zeiss.
