About Me
Dr. Jordan Heffez is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery and the treatment of complex retinal diseases. His clinical expertise includes macular hole, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular pucker (epiretinal membrane), and retinal detachments.
Dr. Heffez completed his ophthalmology residency at Tulane University, where he served as Chief Resident, and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical research and the education of residents and fellows at the Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center ophthalmology program. He emphasizes a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, aiming to help each individual achieve a lifetime of vision.
