About Me
Dr. David Parver is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist at Retina Consultants, serving patients in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He completed his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, medical degree at Sackler School of Medicine, and advanced training including an ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Parver has served as a past president of the Washington DC Metropolitan Ophthalmology Society and on the board of the Washington National Eye Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves as a consultant to the Ophthalmic Devices Panel of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Dr. Parver treats a range of retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, uveitis, and other vitreo-retinal disorders. He is dedicated to helping patients preserve their vision and has been recognized as a Washingtonian and Bethesda Magazine Top Doctor.
