Dr. Jonathan Zelenak

Dr. Jonathan Zelenak is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and the founder of Zelenak Eye Institute. He provides medical and surgical eye care with a special interest in custom cataract surgery using advanced lens technology. In addition to routine and complex cataract care, he offers an in-office laser treatment option for symptomatic eye floaters and manages common conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and dry eye.

Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Dr. Zelenak trained at Michigan State University and has performed thousands of eye surgeries. Patients appreciate his relaxed, thorough and compassionate style as he explains diagnoses and treatment choices in plain language. His goal is to match modern techniques with each person’s visual needs so they can return quickly to work, family and activities that matter most.
