Dr. Jonathan Fritz

Dr. Jonathan P. Fritz is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in custom cataract surgery using advanced multi-focal and toric intraocular lenses. He has a special interest in treating corneal issues and glaucoma, and he routinely implants the latest technology intraocular lenses to help reduce or eliminate the need for glasses after surgery.

Based in the Hendersonville office of Carolina Ophthalmology, Dr. Fritz sees patients with a wide range of conditions, including keratoconus, dry eyes, eye infections, and diabetic eye care. He has experience using lasers to treat certain types of glaucoma and post-cataract membranes. Dr. Fritz received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
