Dr. Jonathan Ekedahl

Dr. Jonathan Ekedahl is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care and specialized cataract management. He completed his medical degree at the University of Maryland and his ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, following an internship in internal medicine.

Dr. Ekedahl’s clinical focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions, with particular expertise in cataract surgery. He has conducted research with the National Institutes of Health and has presented on retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration and retinoblastoma.

A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Ekedahl is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. He practices at multiple locations in the Baltimore area as part of Barenburg Eye Associates.
