About Me
Dr. Knapp treats a broad range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. His priority is to protect and restore vision for his patients. He commonly performs cataract surgery, and also operates on the ocular surface, performs minor eyelid procedures, and offers laser treatment for glaucoma. Dr. Knapp believes in careful listening and taking time to thoroughly explain all treatment options to his patients.
After completing medical school at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Knapp went on to an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology.
