About Me
Dr. John P. Denny is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who has been dedicated to treating eye diseases since his early medical school days when he participated in retinal research. He finds the mechanics of vision fascinating and strives to help improve patients' quality of life through advanced retinal care.
Dr. Denny completed specialized fellowship training in vitreo-retinal disease and has been involved in clinical trials to offer cutting-edge treatments. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and applies the "Golden Rule" to his practice, treating each patient with the care he would want for himself. In addition to his clinical work, he serves on the board of Prevent Blindness North Carolina and is a member of several professional societies.
A Raleigh native, Dr. Denny is pleased to provide care in his hometown and is supported by a dedicated team at North Carolina Retina Associates.
