Meet Dr. John Justus Miller

Dr. John J. Miller is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of retina conditions. A native of Georgia, he graduated as a First Honor Graduate from the University of Georgia and attended the Medical College of Georgia on a full merit-based scholarship. He completed his ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Miami and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Resident during his final fellowship year.

Dr. Miller treats a range of retina-related conditions including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes, macular pucker, retinal detachment, retinopathy of prematurity, tumors of the eye, and uveitis. He has actively participated in clinical studies and published articles in medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists.
