About Me
Dr. John Davidson is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, with nearly 30 years of practice in Ventura County. He focuses on tailoring vision plans to meet specific visual needs, aiming to provide optimal vision for life and maximize freedom from glasses and contact lenses. His entire practice is devoted to refractive, cataract, lens replacement, and microinvasive glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Davidson is a nationally recognized leader and instructor in advanced technology lenses and lasers for lens replacement. He serves as National Director for the American Academy of Ophthalmology Laser Cataract Surgery Skills Transfer Course and as an instructor for the ASCRS Femtosecond Laser Cataract Skills Sessions. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine, and holds director and chief surgeon roles at several eye care centers in the region.
