Dr. John Moffitt

Dr. John C. Moffitt is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined Chippewa Valley Eye Clinic in the winter of 2021. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Dr. Moffitt specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery, diabetic eye treatment, and macular disease management, offering modern no-stitch cataract surgery techniques.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Moffitt treats conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He utilizes medications, laser therapy, and minimally invasive surgery to manage glaucoma and other retinal diseases. His background as a flight surgeon in the military informs his patient-centered approach to eye care.

Dr. Moffitt completed his medical doctorate at the Uniformed Services University of Health Science and his ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is committed to providing safe and effective surgical experiences using the latest technology.
