Dr. Johanna Seddon

Dr. Seddon is an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of retinal and vitreous diseases, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. As a professor at UMass Chan Medical School, she combines clinical practice with academic medicine, and is affiliated with UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Board-certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Seddon completed her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1974. She completed her residency training at Tufts Medical Center and a fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her clinical interests focus on managing complex retinal conditions, including diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration, as well as uveitis.
