Dr. Johann Ohly

Dr. Johann G. Ohly is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, cataracts, and general ophthalmology. He attended college and medical school at the University of Chicago, completed his ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, and finished a glaucoma fellowship at University Eye Specialists.

Dr. Ohly is an early proponent of laser-assisted cataract surgery and has years of experience performing over 1000 cataract procedures with this technology. He utilizes a diverse array of glaucoma surgical procedures, including multiple minimally invasive approaches. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
