Dr. Rohit Krishna

Dr. Rohit Krishna is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Sabates Eye Centers, serving the Kansas City area. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma, with a particular interest in glaucoma tube shunts for managing complicated glaucoma cases surgically. Dr. Krishna completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he served as chief resident, and his glaucoma subspecialty training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Krishna is actively involved in educating residents and medical students through the Eye Foundation of Kansas City and the UMKC School of Medicine's Department of Ophthalmology, where he serves as a professor of ophthalmology and director of the glaucoma service. He has contributed to research and published book chapters and articles in his areas of expertise.
