About Me
Dr. Jodi Luchs is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataract surgery, dry eye syndrome, and corneal conditions. Dr. Luchs also offers advanced surgical procedures including LASIK, PRK, corneal cross-linking, refractive lens exchange, and advanced technology lenses.
Dr. Luchs completed his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He went on to complete a fellowship in cornea and external disease at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Luchs is recognized as a leader in his field and has authored numerous publications, including two books. In 2015, he received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award.
Active in professional organizations, Dr. Luchs is a founding member of the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery and the Society of Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgeons. He also belongs to the Castroviejo Corneal Society.
