Dr. Jillian Kaplita

Dr. Jillian Kaplita is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Connecticut. She is originally from Southbury, CT, and completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Cornell University, with a minor in music. Dr. Kaplita earned her medical degree from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, where she concentrated in medical education.

She completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University. During her training, Dr. Kaplita volunteered with ReSpectacle, a nonprofit that redistributes used eyeglasses to underserved communities. She also served as her department’s wellness champion, focusing on the well-being of her colleagues and patients.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Kaplita enjoys figure skating, skiing, baking, beachcombing, and DIY projects. Her commitment to community service and comprehensive eye care makes her a dedicated resource for patients seeking routine and specialized ophthalmological services.
