Dr. Cinthia Covey

Dr. Cinthia Covey is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing general ophthalmology with a particular interest in small incision cataract surgery and the treatment of glaucoma. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, focusing on both surgical and medical management of common eye conditions.

Dr. Covey received her undergraduate degree with honors from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Yale. She has been a member of The Eye Care Group since 2008 and is a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the Connecticut Society of Eye Physicians.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Covey enjoys traveling with her family, going to the theater, and experimenting with photography. She is married and has four children.
