About Me
Dr. Jia Yin is a cornea and external disease specialist who cares for patients with both routine and complex problems affecting the front of the eye. Her clinical work includes cataract surgery and complex cataract surgery, along with specialized care for corneal dystrophies, keratoconus, and limbal stem cell deficiency. She also treats ocular surface conditions such as pterygium and performs ocular surface reconstruction.
Dr. Yin’s expertise includes corneal transplantation, refractive surgery, and corneal cross-linking. She also provides evaluation and treatment for chemical eye injuries and ocular graft-versus-host disease, as well as other corneal and external diseases. Her training includes graduate study in public health and vision science, followed by ophthalmology residency training at Kresge Eye Institute and fellowship training in cornea, refractive surgery, and external disease at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. She brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to helping patients protect comfort and vision.
