About Me
Dr. Jerry Ford is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cornea and external disease at Eye Associates of North Florida. He offers advanced medical and surgical management for conditions such as corneal diseases, cataracts, and dry eye, and performs specialized procedures including cornea transplants and pterygium excision.
Dr. Ford completed his medical degree at the University of Louisville and trained in cornea disease and refractive surgery through his residency and fellowship at Wake Forest University Eye Center. He currently serves as a Clinical Professor for Florida State University School of Medicine and holds fellowships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Cornea Society. His practice emphasizes small incision cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants to help patients achieve visual independence.
