About Me

Jennifer Renz, MD, is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Renz's clinical focus includes treating complex eyelid and orbital issues, as well as performing cataract surgery.

She specializes in ptosis repair, blepharoplasty, entropion and ectropion surgery, management of benign tumors and cancers of the eyelids and orbit, Mohs reconstruction, facial trauma and orbital reconstruction, lacrimal obstruction, thyroid eye disease, and orbital inflammation. Dr. Renz is board certified in ophthalmology and is accepting new adult patients.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Renz is dedicated to education and research as an associate professor of ophthalmology and visual science at Yale School of Medicine. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored a book chapter, and acted as an editor for the Grand Rounds section of Ocular Surgery News.
