About Me
Dr. Jennifer Jung is a pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for children, with particular expertise in pediatric uveitis and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). As Director of the ROP Service, she cares for the most vulnerable newborns in the NICU and partners closely with families to support vision and development. Her practice also includes amblyopia, strabismus, pediatric cataracts, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease. Dr. Jung is fluent in English and Korean and is known for her patient, family-centered communication.Dr. Jung earned her MD from the University at Buffalo, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado, and pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Colorado. She subsequently completed a five-year preceptorship in Pediatric Uveitis at Children’s Hospital Colorado. As an Associate Professor, she remains active in research and education while delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each child.
