About Me
Dr. Levy is a retina surgeon and vitreous specialist serving patients in South Florida. He provides medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and vitreous hemorrhage. Dr. Levy takes a compassionate approach to patient care and has been recognized for the empathy he brings to his practice.
A native of Miami, Dr. Levy completed his medical degree at the University of Miami, followed by an internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He served as Chief Resident during his ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital, and completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Levy speaks Spanish.
