About Me
Dr. Jason Bell is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Cincinnati Eye Institute. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency at University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Bell also holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Bell provides a full range of medical and surgical eye care. He performs standard and custom cataract surgery, laser vision correction including LASIK and PRK, and anterior segment reconstruction. He manages glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, and common eyelid disorders.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bell serves as a Volunteer Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, teaching ophthalmology residents. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Bell has been recognized as one of Cincinnati's Top Doctors by his peers.
