About Me
Dr. Marek is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices medical and surgical comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery. He provides care to patients at the Clermont, Eastgate and Hyde Park offices of the Cincinnati Eye Institute.
Dr. Marek received his undergraduate and medical degree at Indiana University and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati. He holds a faculty position at the University of Cincinnati where he instructs ophthalmology residents in performing cataract surgery and has participated in glaucoma research leading to published journal articles and a textbook chapter.
Originally from Northwest Indiana, Dr. Marek enjoys golf, tennis, and traveling with his wife and daughter.
