Dr. Brian Marek

Dr. Brian Marek is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices medical and surgical comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery. He provides care to patients at the Clermont, Eastgate, and Hyde Park offices, ensuring accessible eye care for the community. Dr. Marek completed his undergraduate and medical education at Indiana University and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

Dr. Marek holds a faculty position at the University of Cincinnati, instructing ophthalmology residents in cataract surgery techniques. He has participated in research related to glaucoma, leading to the publication of journal articles and a textbook chapter, which informs his evidence-based approach to patient care. Originally from Northwest Indiana, Dr. Marek enjoys golf, tennis, and traveling with his wife and daughter in his personal time.
