Dr. Jason Alvarez

Dr. Jason Alvarez is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a strong focus on refractive and cataract surgery. He has performed numerous LASIK procedures and is certified in SMILE, bringing a modern, safety-first approach to laser vision correction. In addition to laser options such as LASIK and PRK, he offers EVO ICL for patients who may not be ideal laser candidates and provides comprehensive cataract care tailored to lifestyle and visual goals.

Dr. Alvarez earned his medical degree at Florida International University and completed ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute, where he served as chief resident. He completed the Refractive Surgery Alliance resident course and additional refractive training with national and international leaders.
