Dr. Shazia Ali

Ophthalmology – Cornea Specialist

Dr. Shazia F. Ali is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in both pediatric ophthalmology/strabismus and cornea/external disease. She treats children and adults and has a particular interest in complex front-of-the-eye conditions, offering options that include cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, secondary lens implantation, and procedures to address strabismus, iris defects, and trauma. She speaks English, Hindi, Spanish, and Urdu and enjoys partnering with families to tailor care plans around each patient’s vision needs. Dr. Ali earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she also completed ophthalmology residency and a pediatric ophthalmology/strabismus fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital. She then completed a second fellowship in cornea and external disease at the Cizik Eye Center, UTHealth Houston. Her scholarly work spans pediatric cornea, cataract outcomes, and myopia management, and she has received research honors during training. Dr. Megan Law

Ophthalmology – Pediatric Eye Specialist

Dr. Megan X. Law is a board-certified ophthalmologist who cares for children with a full range of pediatric eye conditions and adults with eye misalignment. A Galveston native, she graduated with Highest Honors from Baylor College of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Duke University Medical Center, where she received the Golden Apple Award for excellence in medical student education. Dr. Law speaks English and Mandarin. Dr. Law provides comprehensive care tailored to each family. Her interests include amblyopia (lazy eye), pediatric cataracts and glaucoma, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, retinopathy of prematurity, and pediatric and adult strabismus. She offers both nonsurgical options—such as prism correction and targeted Botox injections for select cases—and advanced strabismus surgery when needed. Dr. Law is delighted to be practicing in Houston and strives to create a welcoming, kid-friendly environment while helping patients of all ages see more comfortably and confidently.

Dr. Adam Cantor

Ophthalmology – Pediatric Eye Specialist

Dr. Adam J. Cantor is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children with the full spectrum of eye conditions and also treats adult strabismus. He enjoys partnering with families to explain diagnoses in clear language and to tailor treatment plans that fit each child’s needs—whether that means monitoring, glasses, patching, medications, or surgery. His clinic welcomes infants through teens, and he is committed to minimizing anxiety around eye exams, procedures, and the operating room. Dr. Cantor’s clinical and research interests span pediatric cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, ocular trauma, and strabismus in both children and adults. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. After medical school and residency at Indiana University, he completed fellowship training in Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor. He has been recognized for teaching and humanism in medicine and enjoys collaborating with pediatricians, orthoptists, and therapists to support visual development.
