About Me
Dr. Adam J. Cantor is a pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for children and also treats adult strabismus. He is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and practices at Texas Children's Hospital. His clinical and research focus spans pediatric cataracts, pediatric glaucoma, and ocular trauma in pediatric patients, and he manages all clinical aspects of pediatric ophthalmology.
Dr. Cantor completed his undergraduate degree in classical guitar performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music before earning his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Texas Children's Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine. During residency, he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society and voted Resident Teacher of the Year across all specialties by the Indiana University Medical School Graduating Class of 2019.
