Dr. Janice Gault

Dr. Janice A. Gault is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and primary eye care. As a member of the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital, she performs cataract evaluations and surgeries and trains resident physicians. She has been honored with the Wills Eye Golden Apple Award for teaching excellence.

Dr. Gault completed her medical education at Duke University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She authored two widely used ophthalmology textbooks, Ophthalmology Secrets and Ophthalmology Pearls, and participates in the Medical Alumni Council at Duke University School of Medicine.
