Dr. Janet Lim

Dr. Janet Lim is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Eugene Eye Clinic, where she specializes in treating and managing eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, functional eyelid pathologies, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She is dedicated to providing personalized care to help patients maintain and improve their vision.

Dr. Lim's expertise is backed by a strong educational foundation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, and earned a dual MD/MBA degree from the same institution. Her medical training included an internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and a residency in ophthalmology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, University of Illinois at Chicago. She further honed her skills as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas, Houston, teaching residents surgical and clinical techniques.

Since joining the Eugene community in 2017, Dr. Lim has been actively involved in patient care at Eugene Eye Clinic. She is committed to serving her patients and enjoys building relationships with them. Outside of her practice, she spends time with her husband and two children, engages in film photography, and is learning to play golf.
