Dr. Jamie Hatcher is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases, with deep roots in the Baton Rouge community. As a third-generation physician, she brings a long-standing tradition of care to her practice, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of various retinal conditions.
Dr. Hatcher completed her medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center and furthered her training with a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery. She is actively involved in professional organizations like the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an Assistant Professor, mentoring future retina specialists.
