Dr. James Culclasure

Dr. James W. Culclasure is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Jervey Eye Group in Greenville, South Carolina. He provides comprehensive eye care and specializes in cataract surgery. Dr. Culclasure enjoys treating and getting to know his patients at the practice’s Halton Road office, focusing on their individual needs.

A South Carolina native, Dr. Culclasure earned his undergraduate degree from Emory and Henry College and his medical degree from the University of South Carolina. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Virginia, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Culclasure is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds active staff privileges at Bon Secours Saint Francis Hospital. He has been recognized with several honors, including Alpha Omega Alpha and the Professor of the Year Award from the University of Virginia Department of Ophthalmology.
