Dr. James Hardin is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care. He sees patients at the Alexandria VA Health Care System in Pineville, Louisiana. Dr.

Hardin is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has extensive experience in both private practice and hospital settings, with a particular focus on cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Hardin also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where he helps train future ophthalmologists through the resident and fellow program at AVAHCS.
