Dr. Michael Redmond

Dr. Michael Redmond is an ophthalmologist who treats a range of eye conditions, with special expertise in cataract surgery, LASIK, and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures. He offers advanced techniques such as no-stitch cataract surgery and excimer laser refractive surgery, and also provides care for astigmatism and other eye diseases.

A native of Alexandria, Dr. Redmond completed his medical degree at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport and his ophthalmology residency at Texas A&M's Scott and White Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He has received several honors for academic achievement and has conducted research in LASIK, PRK, and astigmatism neutralization. Dr. Redmond continues to study new ophthalmic laser technologies and trains fellow physicians in advanced surgical techniques.
