Meet Dr. Robert Bruce Wallace

Dr. R. Bruce Wallace is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with over three decades of experience in cataract and refractive surgery. As a third-generation physician and native of Central Louisiana, he founded Wallace Eye Associates to bring the latest advancements in vision correction to the community. Dr. Wallace has performed tens of thousands of vision correction procedures and is recognized as a key opinion leader in ophthalmology.

Patients benefit from Dr. Wallace’s expertise in modern cataract surgery, LASIK, and multifocal lens technology. His practice is recognized as a Center of Excellence and has been a site for developing innovations in cataract and refractive care. Dr. Wallace also serves as a Clinical Professor at Tulane and LSU medical schools, training the next generation of eye surgeons.
