Dr. James Tuckfield

Dr. Quinten Tuckfield is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to improving sight with thoughtful, patient-centered care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed ophthalmology training at The Ascension Eye Institute in Detroit, where he gained extensive experience in cataract surgery using advanced technology lenses and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).

Dr. Tuckfield provides full-scope medical and surgical eye care, including cataract management, glaucoma evaluation and treatment, and care for common retinal and systemic eye conditions. He places a premium on clear communication and shared decision-making so patients understand their diagnosis, options, and what to expect before and after procedures.
