Dr. Scotty Gadlin

Dr. Scotty Gadlin is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Athens Eye Consultants in Athens, Georgia. He cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of vision concerns—from routine eye conditions to more complex eye disease.

Dr. Gadlin completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He remained at the Medical College of Georgia for ophthalmology residency training.

His clinical training includes medical, laser, and surgical management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and traumatic eye injuries. Dr. Gadlin is passionate about patient education and continuing medical education, and he serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology with the UGA/GRU Medical Partnership.
