Dr. James Lin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist at Vitreoretinal Consultants of New York. He completed his retina fellowship at the top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and served as chief resident during his ophthalmology residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Lin is a fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists and brings advanced training in the medical and surgical management of retinal conditions.

Dr. Lin provides comprehensive retina care, including treatment for retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles on these conditions and is committed to bringing the latest evidence-based treatments to his patients. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he specialized in vitreoretinal surgery and complex retinal diseases.
