About Me
Dr. James Lin is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal specialist dedicated to delivering high-quality retinal care. He graduated from the accelerated BS/MD program at The College of New Jersey and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he received the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship.
He completed his ophthalmology residency as chief resident at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital and pursued advanced training with a retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami, consistently ranked the number one eye hospital in the world. Previously, Dr. Lin served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Lin has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles focusing on retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, and healthcare economics in retina. He is a fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Vit-Buckle Society, committed to bringing excellent care to the community.
