Dr. Handa also has expertise in intraocular oncology, managing patients with choroidal melanomas and metastatic tumors of the eye.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Handa leads a research program focused on understanding the early causes of age-related macular degeneration and has been involved in innovative surgical technologies, including the Argus II retinal chip implant.
