About Me
Dr. Hartstein is a board certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care. He has performed thousands of eye surgeries and specializes in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, as well as cataract surgery and other eye conditions. He has served as an assistant professor of surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and as a glaucoma instructor at White Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Hartstein completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University, medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine, internship at UCI, residency at Albert Einstein Medical College, and a glaucoma fellowship at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
In his practice, Dr. Hartstein focuses on providing personalized, high-quality eye care to help patients maintain healthy vision. He treats a wide range of conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration.
