About Me

Dr. Heather Chang is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the retina and vitreous. She graduated from UCSD School of Medicine and then completed her ophthalmology residency training at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. Following this, she undertook a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Loma Linda University to further hone her skills.

Dr. Chang has published papers in medical journals, highlighting her engagement with the medical community. She specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of disorders including retinal tear and detachment, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal vascular disorders. As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, she is dedicated to providing compassionate and knowledgeable care to all her patients.
