Dr. Heather Koelling

Dr. Heather Koelling is a board-certified general ophthalmologist who served patients at Mid Ohio Eye in Columbus, Ohio, for many years. Now holding emeritus status, she provided comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for a wide range of conditions. Dr. Koelling earned her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree with honors from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Throughout her career, Dr. Koelling held leadership roles including Vice-Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology and Division Chief at Doctors Hospital. She has also served as an assistant clinical professor at Doctors Hospital, The Ohio State University, and currently at Ohio University. A member of several professional organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Dr. Koelling remains involved in academic medicine.
